xynthia
A conceptual audio-gear brand — a fictional instrument house in the spirit of Arturia, spanning hardware concepts, a web storefront, and native desktop tools.
xynthia is a speculative instrument brand: an end-to-end concept for a modern audio-gear house, designed the way Arturia or Teenage Engineering present a product line. It imagines a small family of instruments — keyn (a polyphonic synth), dronn (a step sequencer), and shapr (a signal processor) — and wraps them in a coherent identity, storefront, and software ecosystem.
The web platform is built in Next.js — a marketing site and storefront with SSR/ISR, an adaptive navigation system that reads per-section theme attributes to shift colour and glass blur as you scroll, and a bezier signal-particle system where Framer Motion animates particles along exact path geometry. Waveforms, sequencer patterns, and animation data are precomputed deterministically so SSR and client render in perfect parity.
The desktop side is where it gets real: the patch and signal-routing tools — a drag-and-drop node graph for wiring instruments, effects, and outputs — are built as native apps in Rust via Tauri, keeping the heavy real-time work off the web runtime while sharing the brand's design language.
